John Floyd Estes, age 79, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Waters of Smyrna. He was a native and life-long resident of Rutherford County. John was a member of the Edward Grove Nazarene Church.

John was preceded in death by his parents, John Floyd Estes Sr. and Emmie Estes, son, Randall Estes, brothers, Jim Estes, Houston Estes and James Estes and sisters, Mandy McCoy, Novie Howse and Martha Linhart. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Estes, son, Rev. Jason (Paula) Estes, sisters, Hattie Simonson and Alley Mae Rhode, grandchildren, John Mason Estes and Mia Grace Estes and step-grandson, Grant Qualls.

A Chapel service will be held for John on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. in Jennings and Ayers Chapel with Jim Wandling officiating. A graveside service will follow at 4:00 P.M.. (EST) in Beta Cemetery in Melgs, County with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
